New website looks great, my compliments to the webmaster. Any interest in racing at Atomic Motor Raceway? My local drivers want me to put on a sprint race. Maybe July 10 Aug 21 or whatever. Clem

Clem I think would really cool if you got to with Alan and the (Big Sky Sprints) an the two of you get some thing put together. I really would like to see a two day show or back a night it with belgrade. If you put some thing like that together I would guess that you would get a lot of cars to make the tow. But anyways I would love to come down there and support your track its always fun! Trever Kirkland

Looks like Great Falls is running Aug 21st, not August 14th, so the schedule above is wrong. So Aug 21st won't work for Atomic.
July 9-10 is Edmonton's Gold Cup, so don't know if that is a good date or not. Sure you can work out some dates with Big Sky Sprints guy.

I do think the big sky sprints are a good show. But why so many open nights??? Someone needs to get promoting this bunch. LOOK OUTSIDE THE BOX

Why so many open dates?
First the schedule posted here is not finalized. I think that Big Sky Sprints is still discussing dates with promotors.
Second, I would guess that Big Sky Sprints is waiting to see if Billings races or not. Many of the open dates would normally be taken by BMP.
Thirdly, there are other schedules, like ASCS CanWest, Gillette and Atomic that have not been posted. Some of the open dates may coincide with their schedules.
Finally, Montana usually leaves open dates for racers that want to travel to the Knoxville Brodix 360 show, West Coast Speedweek in July, and for other specials like Gold Cup or Skagit 360 Nationals.
It's still a work in progress.

Here is what I have open at Atomic Motor Raceway. May 29 and 30. We currently are scheduled to have the Idaho state championship outlaw karts both days. There will be a lot of people at the raceway for the karts during the day and will stay for the night racing. This would be a perfect day for the BSS racers to put on a show and spectaters to make the weekend a camping one. The only thing that could hurt us would be the cold weather for spectators, we have had races on this weekend every year since opening with no problems, it has rained twice making the track the best it has ever been. The only other date I have is june 25-26 but I would have to work out some other dates scheduled. Other than that all I have are 1 day shows. Post your thoughts. In defense of scheduling by promoters I have had my schedule posted in the questions section since december. I have changed it over 20 times to date. Working with 6 different sanctioning bodies and several tracks in the area it is amazing that a workable schedule even gets posted before raceday. So lets give all of the promoters, racers and their familys that are involved a big pat on the back to make racing the best it can be in our area. I am looking forward to a succesful race year for everyone. Clem

I,v been told Belle Fourche speedway is going to open under Bill Kester running the show that would be another place for big sky sprints to run. If you are interested his phone number is (605) 209-2088.
