ASCS NORTHWEST REGION KICKS OFF SEASON AT SKAGIT SPEEDWAY Alger WA) The champagne of the Northwest Sprint Car Touring Series is coming to the party at Skagit Speedway. The ASCS NW Regional Tour will kick off their 2011 season at the first ever apperance at the famous Skagit oval. “This is going to be a great event for the fans and racers,” commented Skagit Speedway promoter Steve Beitler . “It has taken some time to get all the details and scheduling worked out, but I am excited and look forward to working with the racers and staff of the ASCS Tour”. ASCS NW Regional Series Director Greg Burgess is looking forward to a long relationship in the future as well, “We’ve both wanted to get something put together. All of us with the ASCS Northwest Regional Tour look forward to working with Steve and his staff and making it a great night of racing for the racers and fans at one of the nicest facilities in the west.” Both groups invite racers and fans alike to the May 7th show. The ASCS Northwest Regional Series features some of the best 360 racing anywhere in the country. With drivers like Roger Crockett, Henry Van Dam, Mitch Olson and defending champion Jason Solwold taking on Skagit Speedway regulars Rod Perkins, Alan Munn, Kelsey Carpenter and Devin Madonia the action is sure to draw fans from all over the Northwest.
